The time you become hoggish, and pray to get "lucky", is the day you squander all of your money. Seems a little absurd, but it appears to be true. The only time I ever win money is when I don’t care about blowing it. I decided to go to the the casino last evening with twenty dollarsin my pocket. I could not care less about blowing it, I mean, what is $20? So guess what happened? I left with $120 profit in a few hours!
A different occassion I headed to the casino with my friend Bob. I took in one hundred dollars that I could not stand to lose. I got greedy, I got scared, and I ended up betting too much and squandered it in 32 mins! The lesson is don’t ever bet anymore than you can afford to squander. If you do not panic about losing, you have a lot more opportunity of profiting big!
How else can you build up your chances of succeeding at Roulette other than making a budget? Never bet on individual numbers! Yes, they come up occasionally, but they don’t hit often enough to ensure a dependable profit. Just wager on even wagers e.g. red, black, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets e.g. first dozen, 2nd dozen, third dozen, etc Wager on odds that pay out fairly big.
With the basic rules covered, how else might we further increase our chances of winning at Roulette? By shifting probability into our friend, as opposed to our mortal enemy. "You can not succeed at Roulette", my buddy Ben would say to me. "It’s absolutely arbitrary due to the fact that any number can come up". Absolutely, my buddy Ben certainly has a point, but at the same instance, he is missing a critical aspect of the picture. I absolutely agree, red or black can come up thirty times in a row, but how often does that happen?
